Don't you just love it when you find photographs that you thought you'd lost? Well, I do. So I was aptly delighted yesterday when I found some photos I'd taken in Texas, uploaded, filed and stored away and forgotten about, until now that is. The photographs in particular I was glad to see were the following photos of a guy my friend Katy (Have you checked out The Blind Hem yet? Do it!) & I christened 'Bob'. I'd actually completely forgotten about 'Bob' (no idea what his real name is). We encountered him on South Congress St. in Austin, Texas. He was incredibly nice and a real character, so much life and personality. If I remember rightly, Katy gave him money to get a beer and he made an admission that he secretly already had a cold one in his bag. What a man. This is a good example of why I always have such a great time in Texas and I'm really overdue a visit, in the meantime I've got lots of old photos of my numerous trips to the Lone Star State.
